About me

I believe that, "Hair doesn't have a race... only TEXTURE!!" - and with it, I create ART.

Many children have their career dreams,  I wanted to be a Hairstylist. My parents weren't very supportive with my decision because I excelled in the sciences and arts. As a child, I enjoyed experimenting with different colors and shapes always "styling" my dolls. Each doll had their own cut and color, (from Hydrogen Peroxide and Kool-Aid - to Synthetic Hair or Old-school Yarn).  Nothing could stop the urge to create a look for  my "babies."  

Throughout my school years, I enjoyed leading laboratory experiments in chemistry. The balance to my life came through the creative and preforming arts.  As a self proclaimed, NERD, my studies and research are imparative to my art.  My diverse background has enabled me to become a multicultural texture specialist for both men and women.   I pride myself on being able to work with any texture that is presented to me.  You never know what you are going to encounter when asked to be involved on a project.  I've learned to combine interests and talents to be one of the best at what I love the most.
